THE IIE
Rosebank College is an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE). The Independent Institute of Education (Pty) Ltd is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997 (reg. no. 2007/HE07/002). The IIE is internationally accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), and a leading registered provider of private higher education in South Africa. The IIE offers world-class standards which ensure that students can be confident about the value of their qualifications. The IIE operates across 24 sites offering more than 130 registered and accredited higher education programmes from Higher Certificate to Doctrate level. About BAC
The IIE is not only accredited in South Africa, but its dedication to providing quality education also led to it being accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) in 2014. The British Accreditation Council is an independent authority in the United Kingdom that accredits private providers globally, including Greece, Switzerland, Singapore, India, Mauritius and the United Arab Emirates. In 2017 The IIE had its accreditation status confirmed by the BAC as an International Higher Education Institution confirming our confidence in the international comparability of our standards.
What does it mean for an institution to have BAC accreditation?
An educational institution that has achieved BAC accreditation has been judged against a set of internationally recognised quality standards - this means qualified experts evaluate the institution against the following criteria:

ETHICS AT IIE ROSEBANK COLLEGE
Our reputation and value of qualifications depend on the integrity of our academic processes and safety of our teaching and learning environments. Our Ethics Hotline was established to help you confidentially and anonymously report misconduct, intimidation, corruption, solicitation of bribes or favours and/or fraud if you can't do so using the existing open channels. Through the Ethics Hotline, you can report any activity which you reasonably suspect could undermine the safety of the teaching and learning environment or the integrity and reputation of the qualifications. This could include cheating in assessments or assessment leaks, blackmailing in exchange for a favour, including but not limited to; succeeding in an assessment or module; sale or trading of illegal substances; intimidation; harassment, dishonesty, theft or fraud.
