Yes, The Independent Institute of Education (Pty) Ltd is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997 (reg.no. 2007/HE07/002). Company registration number: 1987/004754/07. To legally offer higher education qualifications in South Africa an institution must be registered with the Department and its qualifications must be accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee of the Council on Higher Education and registered on the National Qualifications Framework by Southern African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

The South African Qualification Authority is the statutory body responsible for registering qualification and part qualifications as recommended by the relevant Quality Council on the National Qualifications Framework. Recognized international and other qualifications are evaluated for equivalence to South African qualifications by its Directorate: Foreign Qualifications Evaluation and Advisory Services (DFQEAS). SAQA issues a Certificate of Evaluation upon review of such applications.

You can access your academic transcript on the Student Information System (SIS) under My Results.
Timetables for both classes and assessments are available on the SSO link. Your timetable will detail your class times. It also indicates who your lecturer is.

Application forms are available on the Campus where you are currently attending. Please speak to the Client Services team- Your Academic Operation Administrator can assist you with the forms.
Steps to follow to upload documents on SIS:
Step 1: Log onto your Student SIS Account
Step 2: Access My Profile and select Documents
Step 3: To add a document, click on the icon with the + sign
Step 4: Select a Document Type from the drop-down list and upload
the required document.
Step 5: Press Save.

We unfortunately do not offer bursaries. We do however, accept external bursaries and study loans.
The Graduate Empowerment Programme (GEP) was initiated in 2012 by IIE Rosebank College to address graduate unemployment in South Africa. Through career coaching sessions, IIE graduates are taught to effectively apply and interview for employment, thus empowering them with the tools they need to increase their chances of securing employment. It is our priority to produce highly employable IIE graduates who have the knowledge, skills, competence and confidence they need to become valued assets within any organisation.
Each Campus aims to place 80% of current IIE graduates within their graduation year. Over 15 000 IIE graduates have been placed in employment since 2012.
No, however, IIE Rosebank College has a strong focus on preparing graduates for the world of work through our Graduate Empowerment Programme. Furthermore, we have career centres with a track record of giving students a head start.

Application fees can be paid at the bank or online, via our website, click here to make a payment on our website., You will then be required to email (your consultant will give you the relevant email address) or take your proof of payment to your nearest campus. The application and registration fee/s is non-refundable.
Go to IIE Rosebank College website, click IIE RC Assist, and follow the prompts. You can also log a ticket via our WhatsApp Bot 067 928 1311. Save the number on your phone as RC BOT; you then type in the word “Hi” and follow the prompts.

Please ensure that you have the following on hand should you choose to apply/register – certified copy of your ID and account payer’ ID, certified copy matric results and application fee (non-refundable).

The Matriculation Board of Universities South Africa regulates admission to bachelor degree studies by requiring all applicants who are completing or have completed their schooling outside of South Africa or through a system other that the South African National Senior Certificate examinations to fulfil the criteria that the Board has set for that system. For international students, the procedure in "The International Student Handbook – Appendix 1" must be followed and for South African students, The IIE "Conditional Admissions Based on not Meeting Entrance Requirements-: South African Students - Application and Monitoring Procedure" must be followed. Universities South Africa issues a certificate of exemption (conditional or complete) to such applicants. Students who have been issued with a degree exemption certificate must still meet any specific/additional admission requirements of The IIE degree programmes in order to qualify for admission.
To avoid any disappointment we recommend that you register and pay your deposit, especially when applying in January and February. If you are an international student refer to the international student section on the FAQ document.

Rosebank College unfortunately does not have accommodation on our campuses, however, we recommend that students may consult South Point or DigsConnect accommodation providers.
Your registration is pending until you have paid a non-refundable R1 600 registration fee and met all admission requirements.
Suppose you have completed an IIE Higher Certificate or Diploma and would like to further your studies. In that case, you can enroll for another IIE qualification. Kindly note that all admission requirements for the new IIE qualification will still apply.
