Sibongile Ilunga is the Campus Head at IIE Rosebank College Nelspruit.

Mrs. Ilunga started her professional career in the banking industry in a Management Development Programme after which she became a Credit Analyst at various Standard Bank branches and Head Office.  After a short stint as a business owner in the property industry, she was head-hunted for a Head of Department position at Rosebank College (IIE) which became her first contact with the training and skills development industry.  This is where her passion for people development and empowerment grew, and has not looked back since.

With a total of 29 years’ working experience of which 18 years are in education management, servicing all types of clients in both the private and public sectors and spanning across all NQF levels from Further Education and Training (FET: Level 2-4), Higher Education and Training (HET: Level 5-9) through various learning mediums.  Mrs Ilunga has held various senior management positions.

·FET Academic Manager at Damelin Braamfontein Camp

·Head of School (Business, Management and Corporate Training)at Damelin National Academic Head Office (Randburg)

·Programme Manager (Postgraduate & Masters Studies) at Regenesys Business School (Sandton) 

·Training Operations Manager and Acting Group HR at Tipp Focus Group, and lastly

·Managing Executive of Tipp Academy (Pty) Ltd

Mrs Ilunga’s academic qualifications include a Diploma in Business Management (CPUT), B-Tech and Honours Management degree (UNISA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (Regenesys) as well as various short and skills programmes in Project Management; Financial Management; Labour Relations; Corporate Strategic Planning; Estate Planning; Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence; Corporate Governance and Business Ethics; Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator training, amongst others.  She also served on the Services SETA & LGSETA Provincial Steering Committees in Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KZN.

What drives Bongi is service excellence, which extends beyond her professional career.  She leads by example in every sphere of life – home, church and community where she holds leadership positions, which in turn aligns with her passion for grooming young people.  She finds great joy in supporting and seeing people of all ages going beyond their limitations, adapt to ever-changing technological advances and achieve their goals.
